Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan atau BPOM kembali merilis daftar obat sirup yang aman dari cemaran etilen glikol atau EG dan dietilen glikol alias DEG.
Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan pada 18 hingga 29 November 2022, ada tambahan 46 produk obat sirup yang aman digunakan, sepanjang menggunakan sesuai aturan pakai.
"Verifikasi dilakukan berdasarkan pemenuhan beberapa kriteria, antara lain kualifikasi pemasok, pengujian bahan baku setiap kedatangan dan setiap wadah, serta metode pengujian yang mengikuti standar/Farmakope terkini," terang BPOM dalam keterangan tertulis.
Dalam daftar terbaru, terdapat sejumlah produk obat sirup yang biasa digunakan orang tua untuk anaknya. Seperti Actifed, Sanmol, OBH Combi, Proris, hingga Tempra.
Berikut daftar terbaru 172 obat yang aman digunakan:
